Yep, this is exactly in line with what I've been saying for a while already. I don't know how much of that usage is just debugging information and telemetry data being collected.

Edge Spartan is very efficient but it's also very slow and less responsive compared to Edge Chromium.

And "classic" Edge totally sucks at playing 4K YouTube(looses lips to sound sync) too

It does? I haven't noticed that. I don't have a 4k display though, but I can play 4k videos without any issues.

It was really bad on Gamers Nexus and Linus Tech Tips, but most 4K, yuuuucccckkk!
I had to use Chrome then.
Now I have the best of both browsers
