I've been using Edge Dev as sole browser for a few weeks now (all good) however today I went to open normal Edge to check a sites behaviour and I find I get a GSOD each time I try and open Edge. It says soemthing like 'error in non paged area'.

I have Edge DEV set as default browser in default apps settings as well.

I've tried three times now and three times it crashed out. (Running latest Skip Ahead version of Ten).
This appears to have been fixed with the latest Insider build. Normal Edge now opens OK.

New question... has anyone noticed that web browsing (such as this site) looks a little washy and lacking impact. Its as if the contrast is reduced a touch compared to how it has been. Other sites render in the same way, however apps on the PC retain the impact and contrast they always had. I also suspect the colour temperature is fractionally warmer.

Its very subtle and a bit of a case of 'is it or isn't it different'. It just looks soft. Not sure if that is down to the latest DEV or the latest Insider build. Fwiw I'm running Intel HD3000 integrated graphics.

And for those who use PWAs there is a new flag to add the pages to the Jump lists under the category Recently Visited:

How can I save custom user agent? I have to use the Firefox string to get Google Voice to work properly, but as soon as I close the developer tools the browser reverts to the automatic setting, removing the Firefox customization. Is there a way to get the setting to stick?

Edge Beta is the most stable version as it runs like a final version. Just would like to remove that "Send Feedback" button if possible.

Microsoft still doesn't consider that a build is stable enough to released it in the beta channel, several people speak of the "beta" version as if it were something official and it is not, it will only be official when it is published on this page:

Until that happens, all those versions are simply leaked versions. they are not really "beta" builds.

Edge Development has been very stable...at least on my computer it has been...I am planning on staying with it until the final official release...The weekly updates have been fine and it's fast and snappy and only seems to keep getting better...

I understand but the leaked Beta version is the most stable. The Dev version sometimes runs sluggish and glitches and the Canary version is sluggish all the time and glitches constantly.

Thanks Leo. Seems UK English hasn't been released yet as the words are still US English.
