    OTOH, I will go out of my way to avoid anything Google and anything that contributes to their data "Hoovering" and privacy denying business model. I avoid their search engine like the plague...

    Well, if they were going to pay I'd want to know how much before I made up my mind But seriously, I'll have a look at Edge built on Chromium when Microsoft releases it if extensions from the Chrome web store work.

    My canary install updated to latest, restarted, and now it just crashes every time I open it.

    Guess I will try a clean install of it and see what happens.

    yep but it crashes for me 2 seconds after opening making it useless.
