Has anyone seen any articles or information that at least gives a rough idea of when the chrome version of Edge might get it's general release? Other than the the one article i saw that didn't think it would be until spring 2020, i haven't seen anything around...just curious....

Meanwhile, i am enjoying the old (current version) of Edge
For those already using the new version, does it seem like it is "smoothing out" and how do you like it so far?

I had never really given Edge a good chance in the past but now have surprisingly discovered how nice it really is... I am also fond of Chrome and have "fingers crossed" that the new version of Edge will also be really nice as well...

The general release depends on how ambitious Microsoft is.. Good things take time to happen.

I was curious...When you download the canary build does it install separately from your standard Edge that already have? Or does it replace it?

My thought was that if it is separate, then ultimately when the new version is generally released, it would be easy to remove the development version of the new Edge...Also, if you have a problem on the development version, you always have the option to use the current version, instead...

I d/l Canary Build and it installed separately - can have both running at the same time. When I open the Canary Build it suggested I turn off Developer option for better results - I did.

I thought it would be...is it also easily uninstallable as well?

Currently, I am using Edge as my main browser and I also have Chrome installed...I was toying with the idea of removing Chrome and installing Canary Edge instead...so that I can play with it and watch the progress, while still having my old Edge to fall back to...

Yep, you can go to apps in settings and uninstall it like other apps.
