    Edge page split

when EDGE opens, it is split horizontally with the top space covering the text, picture, etc on the lower half. I did nothing intentionally to make this change but there is no way indicated to nremove it. Does anyone know how to eliminatethe split?

What have you set as Edge's opening page? Does it do this on all pages or just when you open Edge? A screenshot would help explain what you are seeing.

The arrowhead symbol shown in screenshot shows where to toggle preview of all open tabs on or off. Click it to close preview:

Kari has provided the solution. BTW, when the tabs preview is turned on (as it is in your screenshot) this setting is retained even if you close and re-open Edge,

    Edge page split

Hi Kari, Thanks for the quick response. I have 3 problems with it
    1. I don't know how you got the page of screens.
    2. When I open my screens saved, there is no ^ anywhere.
    3. In my original post I was asking for help to eliminate the split screen. Finding the saved screen shot doesn't deal with that issue. Canyou help me with that?

Exactly as Bree said. The switch to toggle previews on or off can be clearly seen in your screenshot:

(Your original screenshot, where I have marked the switch.)
