    Problem with the universal Windows Mail app.


    One option for syncing MS Mail with my account at outlook.com is called 'as items arrived'. This was working fine until a few weeks ago. It's possible the last cumulative update caused this. Have those who use MS Mail ever run into this problem and know of a fix if it's not a bug?

    I have no problems with 2 Outlook Accounts for 5 years using the Mail App. That setting is the same.
    You could try deleting the account and set it up again.
    To update the Mail App go to the MS Store.
    Almost any Mail server may have an occasional glitches for a time.

    Just discovered the reset Mail option. It fixed the missing mark all as read but items as they arrive is still not working. I have to set a 15 minute mail check instead.

    Update... My VPN for whatever reason was causing this option not to work. Without my VPN running it works fine. I reported this to the VPN developers. If someone has an idea why my VPN (maybe even all VPN's) would only affect 'as items arrive' please chime in.
