How to copy saved bookmark pages/folder from one computer to an email?

Hey all got a question. I use my chromebook to web browse and have lot of windows opened etc. I would bookmark the pages but when i do this, i usually click on bookmark open pages and it saves all the pages on that current google chrome webpage into one folder. The thing is i haved saved over 25 of these at least. So anytime i open one, i would go to it and then open one of those bookmark folders and each time, at least 10 pages would pop up on the same chrome page since i have at least 10 tabs into it.

The thing is i want to clean my chromebook by clearing its entire history. I also do not want any of the bookmarks saved on my chromebook. How do i have all these bookmarked pages i saved sent to say my email address so whenever i want to visit these open bookmarked pages, i can just go to my email and then open some of these pages? I do not want these bookmark pages saved on my chromebook. I assume its something like have it sent your email address. Then whenever i want to visit those bookmarked pages, i have to download that file from my email? Then once i do that, i open the bookmarked files from there? Then if i want to delete these bookmarked files from my computer, just delete that file i downloaded? That way it would not be on my computer? I use my chromebook solely for web browsing.

    Thanks.

It's a bit tedious depending on the number of 'tabs' there are, but you could open each one and copy the URL to either the email itself, or a notepad type application to attache/include in an email to yourself.

As stated this would be worky, but then you'd have individual URL's instead of a number of files with tab groups of 10+ sites/URL's in each file.

I recently discovered a very neat Chrome extension that will do the job of copying multiple URLs which you can then paste into any document format you want:
Copy All Urls - Chrome Web Store

I do not know if there is a limit as to how many can be copied at one time but I recently had need to copy the URLs from 30 tabs at the same time and it handled the job without any problems.

hey man i tried the copy all urls and that is nice. I then opened one of the bookmarks that had over 20 tabs in it. Then i clicked on save. Then i pasted it to my email and sent it to myself. It list all the sites.

However, there isn't anything where i can save like that bookmark with 22 sites and then send it to my email. Then i open that file or download file to my computer and then it would open all 22 tabs on chrome? That is what i really would like.

You can also save the text below in Chrome as a favourite which will send an email containing a link to the current page you are browsing (Outlook needs to be running if that's what you use). I find this quite useful for reminding me to follow up a web site in more detail after a quick initial look.

    javascript:location.href='mailto:?SUBJECT='+document.title+'&BODY='+escape(location.href);

You can also export your bookmarks as a .html file from Chrome's bookmark manager and attach that .html file in an email

    How do i do that?

Example i click bookmark manager. Then for every single bookmark folder, i click the 3 dots and click export bookmarks?

Once i do that, what do i press next? Do i save it and if so where? Is it to my downloads? It shows todays date... html as what is being saved. So i have to do that... save it to my downloads? Then sent that to my email address?

So once i do that, i can erase the current bookmark folder on my computer? Then when i download that html file on the laptop, how do i open it? Do i save it to my computer. Then click bookmark manager and import bookmark?

You can name the exported .html file whatever you like and save it wherever you like. Exchange the file with another PC by sending the .html file as an email attachment, transferring via a portable USB stick or a shared folder in the cloud. You then import the bookmarks from the .html file to your second PC. All bookmarks are exported / imported via the single .html file.

Hi there. But can i do everything with a single computer? Example i have all the bookmarks on my chromebook.

I then export and name it whatever is the file such as bookmarked files. Then i send it to my yahoo email to make it simple. After i sent it, i can just delete all the bookmarked folders on my chromebook? Then i download that html file in the yahoo email attachment and then import it to the same chromebook? The thing is i want to have a copy of all my bookmark folder/pages on a file and then i delete all the bookmarked folder/files from my chromebook. Then in the future when i want to open the files/folders, i want to open it on the same chromebook.

    So would that work?

I ask this because i will most likely wipe my chromebook clean and do a power wash as my chromebook has been very slow. And i read if you do this, the chromebook would be like new and fast again. Then when i use the chromebook, i want all those bookmark folders that i saved etc. So i could then check my email, import that html file to my chromebook, then have every single bookmark folder on it like previous.

    Thanks.

    Yes!
I save my Chrome bookmarks in a .html file on Onedrive from where I can import them into any Chrome browser on any of mt PCs. I prefer to do this than synching my Gmail account since I have more control.
