    Problem with downloads in Chrome

Hello! As of March 8th, 2019 I can't download anything. Whenever I try, I get a message that says 'virus scan failed' accompanied by the failed download. Looking back at my download history, I was able to download things on March 6th, but was not able to on March 8th (I didn't try to download anything on March 17th). Since I mostly download images for drawing references, I figured this wouldn't be a problem, and have been screenshotting the images I used for drawing.

However, I attended a Set It Off concert last night and bought a vinyl record of their newest album that is accompanied with a download for MP3's. I tried to download them with no success. I am worried as I only have two more tries to access the page that I can download them from. Thank you in advance, and I hope this was enough info! I can provide more if needed. Thank you!

Have you got any Third Party security on your system? AVG etc..?

Also could be worth checking Chrome is up-to-date by going to the 3 dots and 'About'?

Hey, thank you for the help! I just checked, and yep, Chrome is up-to-date. I have McAfee but my subscription expired some 3 months ago, so I don't think it's active anymore.

Hey! I fixed it, thank you for all the help! I had to go into the registry editor, and go into Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Attachments.
From there I changed the value of ScanWithAntiVirus to 1.
