    Hi guys,

New to this forum. Have the same old problem with tabs on the top and I want to get them back to bottom. Have been using ff 72 and just updated to 75. I still run Win 7 (love Media Centre). Can someone please advise how to update chrome./css? Many thanks.

Thanks f14tomcat. Tried that but it didn't work. I wonder if it still has to do with the chrome.css file. Can someone please give me the text that the file should contain ... for Win 7 if that matters at all. Thanks.

I think this post by @bo elam further back in this thread was the latest userChrome.css code that he said worked in v.73 and also later in v.74.

    Firefox..move tabs below address bar

Usually when a major release breaks it, Bo will post his fix here. Also you might check your FF updates again, I just got v.76 this morning.

Also an important note if you're creating a profile from scratch, in order to use the .css file you have to make sure to ENABLE it by setting:

    toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets to TRUE

Also, about 6 months ago, Mozilla introduced this preference:

    toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets

In older profiles created before the preference was introduced, the preference was set to true automatically by the Firefox update, this was seamlessly done when the user was already using css customization. In newer profiles, the user has to set the preference to true for css to work. In other words, if you create a new profile in Firefox 73, you have to set the preference to true for css to work.

Confirmed, updating to Firefox 76/76.0.1 does not break the css code for tabs on the bottom as posted in February 2020.

Just new to this forum and I created this profile to ask you some questions. I tried the code that you mentioned back in February and something is off. It moves the tabs to below the address bar but it's on the same level as my bookmarks and the, Minimize, Expand, Close Window buttons moved down with the tabs. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Hi datigren186. Perhaps you should try the code with a new Firefox profile.

Try posting a picture of what you are seeing.
