Google Chrome Extensions Updating stuck for Developer mode.
-
It updated itself. I have multiple extensions that are on current versions. I check them randomly here and there. Chrome is still checking/auto-updating them. It's just the manual check through Developer mode is not working. We'll still get all the newest versions when they are uploaded to the Chrome Web Store, so we're good as far as getting the most recent versions. We just can't force a check when we want.
Oh....Okay....Thanks
Manual check via Developer mode works okay from my other Windows Admin user account.
Just curious.... if there's a related reg switch or how we'd find related broken profile file.

Not that I know of. I've been trying several different methods, and doing a fair bit of searching, but I can't find anything that would prevent it from working. I'm at a total loss right now. If I do figure it out I'll definitely post it.

Yep I meant Google Drive.

Sorry I wasn't clear before. I'm talking about the standalone program. It was called Google Drive (still is for the web and app), but the program is now called Backup and Sync.

Backup and Sync = no

Hey there! Have you found any fix relating this problem in the meantime?

Nope. We either have to wait for them to auto-update (which they do when an new version is released, but it may take a day or so), or uninstall, and then reinstall to get the newest version right then and there.
