Graphical and sound glitches
Basically my laptop does a bunch of weird graphical gitches on screen, like a few lines out of place or something. But sometimes it will be much worse as in the case of trying to watch a youtube video (see video link). Also when listening to music on headphones the sound often pops, crackles and buzzes. I made sure all my drivers are up to date but still having same issues. Any help please let me know what I can try.

Try getting rid of the new non-polymer YT UI...
On a YT watch page, right click/Inspect/Application/Cookies/youtube.c.......,
add al=en&f5=30030&f6=8 and refresh the page.

I'm not sure what you mean by the screen recorder isn't helping. That's exactly how it appears on my screen. Also I can't see an option to add that code into
