Hi all,
I have a new strange problem.
For the last 4 days, when I turn on my computer it boots fine, but it will open IE and go to my home page. I have no clue on how that happened, and don’t know where to find the setting. It is not in msconfig/startup. I also looked at internet option, but did not find anything.
Any ideas??

On the start menu go to Windows Administrative Tools, then System Information. Look under Software Environment then Startup Programs. It will tell you if and where it's getting a command to start IE. Otherwise there's a setting to restore previous folder windows at logon under File Explorer Options in control panel. Don't think it has an effect on IE normally, but may want to check then uncheck it anyway.
The start up programs are the same as in msconfig and no mention of IE. I clicked on all 3 reset buttons in File Explorer Options.
I will report back tomorrow, can't test it now.

it looks like you sugestions solved the problem, IE did not open all back to normal. would like to know what happend so i can avoid it in the future, i know i did not change anything, must have been an update.
