Try to contact Zvonko Tesic <phazze@gmail.com> at OE Classic. He has helped me a lot. FYI, He is in Bosnia so may be a time lag in his reply.

I'm using it now and love it. Yes the free version only lets you use 2 Accounts but the $$ version I bought, am currently using it with 9 accounts and 70+ folders. Works great. Just wish it would use the Windows Contact List/Address Book instead of having to make up one using *.csv. BTW, It did not break when PCs updated to Windows 10 version 1709 (Fall Creators Update)
Plus, a licensee can use on more than 1 PC as I was told by tech at OE Classic.
I just imported WAB into mine OK. I think you would have had to export the Windows Address Book in its entirety to somewhere first.

I'll have to pay for it first for that to happen, but thanks.

I contacted him with questions before buying it & got answered promptly.
I Exported my Address Book to *.csv then imported that into OE Classic. How'd you do it?

Any idea how to associate it with the mailto: protocol ??
    Hi Peter,
Just a thought, but in Seven Forums on post 1 of the WinMail Win7 tutorial I have this for one of my screenshots links on how to do it manually (if needed) for WinMail ...but I would think you could do the same (similar) thing for your OE Classic (or any other) email program, on Win10 too. If your OE Classic in listed, just toggle it in for the various associations as shown on the screenshot.

OE Classic does not show in List of Defaults in Windows 10, version 1709.

I'll be staying with WinMail for a long time!
...but, I really really am interested in what all you find out about what is the best replacement, and am happy for the ones that work well.
