When I log into my service providers email site, it will not open a web view, which it used to do on 1803. It says "switch to the standard (HTML) version."
My service provider says this is a Microsoft problem I tried resetting Edge but it does not change.
Yes it is a issue with your provider, not Edge. Until the switch to Chromium, Edge will not render or do some things that Firefox & Chromium based browsers are capable of.
Not quite sure I understand! should I uninstall Chrome and then reset Edge? Or uninstall edge and then reinstall. My provider says it is not their problem and they cannot help. I just tried my wife's computer, also running Win10 and Edge and it works fine. Only difference is she is still on 1803, not 1809. So the problem is not with my service provider.
Just realised that Chromium has nothing to do with the Chrome browser! So I still need to know if my problem can be fixed, or is 1809 to blame??
Until your ISP fixes the problem, use either a Mozilla or Chromium based browser. Chrome is a Chromium based browser. It has zero to do with your computer.
