Thunderbird: Switch POP to identical IMAP profiles on 2 computers

I have Thunderbird on 2 computers & have a POP profile on both. I want to switch to IMAP & make sure that the profile names are identical on both computers. If I change POP to IMAP on 1 computer first, how do I make sure that the IMAP profile I create on the 2nd computer is identical?
    Thank you in advance.

Change one then use mozbackup to copy it to the other MozBackup - Backup tool for Firefox and Thunderbird

Thanks, I'll take a look at it. It's a little scary because the developer says there's bugs & the latest version is from 2016. Have you used it recently to copy between computers?

You might want to copy this entire folder manually to a safe location:

    C-users-your user name-appdata-roaming-thunderbird

That's where your Tbird configuration and profile lives. It has several subfolders.

If things go haywire with mozbackup, you would have the fallback position of restoring that thunderbird folder.

I've used mozbackup successfully a couple of times, but normally I just copy my saved thunderbird folder into that location whenever I have to do a reinstall.
