Edge slowdown issues

In the last few days I have noticed that edge has become very slow to load some pages and completely unresponsive at times to the point I have installed firefox to get around it. Some websites load fine but then, if I try to navigate to a different page it just sits trying to load and it seems to be random as to which sites work, even the MS forums decided it didn't want to play today.



I have tried resetting edge twice were it will then run fine until the computer is restarted and I then have the same issue. Have cleaned using ccleaner, deleted all history and cookies.



Any ideas/help appreciated incuding sticking with firefox

Same thing happened to me. Some websites would lock Edge up so I couldn't leave that website. That was with edge in version 1809, I rolled back to version 1803 and edge works perfect again on all websites.
