    why does my computer tell me I need flashplayer when it is built in? I have checked my settings and it tells me it is enabled

    May be your browser that's telling you that, if you are not using Edge or IE. You've gone to a site that wants Adobe Flash Player to do what it does. The built in Windows Flash is not the same as Flash Player.
