Well you should disable Ublock and Browsec VPN and relaunch Firefox. See if you get the same issue.

I'm not convinced that it's an OS issue since DNS and Hosts seem to be fine. One other possibility is security software. Some can be used to block websites but that should not usually be browser specific.

Hope you looked into first post ^^

    Things i've tried:
    - Run firefox in safe mode without addons
    - Removing all addons
    - Checking if proxy settings disabled
    - Checking if privacy/block is disabled
    - Totally reinstalling firefox with deleting everything and cleaning registry
    - Checking if windows hosts file is empty
    - Disabling windows firewall
    - Disabling Avast shields
    - "Works" if i'm putting direct instagram ip to hosts file, but doesnt load images/videos
And this issue is in Instagram, Facebook apps from MS store, so it's not totally Firefox issue then

Also I reckon you should check that these settings are applied via about:config

Okay forget my posts above then. I can't think of anything OS related that would allow connection via other browsers but not firefox.

    How about repair installing Avast?

Really I reckon that it's best to use the offline installer and modify setup and opt not to install all the crap.

remove bonjour that can do it but yours is giving problems

    Date: 2018-11-12 15:32:29.845
Description: Code Integrity determined that a process (\Device\HarddiskVolume4\Windows\System32\svchost.exe) attempted to load \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\Bonjour\mdnsNSP.dll that did not meet the Windows signing level requirements.

AAvast can do this as well but it has to be removed and the remocvle tool from their website used to get ti to work

Question. When you Uninstalled firefox if you didn't fully delete all elements of your old profile it could explain why the old setting was retained by the new install.

    Agreed on Bonjour.

I have one more suggestion. Windows Store and Store Apps might possibly depend upon the correct operation of DNS Client Service. I cannot test personally since I don't have Windows Store or any Store Apps (all have been removed)

    Try:

    Elevated command prompt.
Open Elevated Command Prompt in Windows 10 | Tutorials

    ipconfig /flushdns
    net stop dnscache

Visit Facebook and see if it works. If it does:

    net start dnscache

In Firefox type “about:config” and search for “network.dnsCacheExpirationGracePeriod“, note the current value then change the vaule to “0” (zero), restart browser and after DNS cleared, set it back to original value.

Problem solved with a help of Windows Repair tool from tweaking.com. Must be some services/windows system file issues. Not a browser issue for sure
