can you still go through your Internet files and find images

several years ago I remember you could go into I believe your temporary Internet files and all the images that were displayed on any websites that you viewed were saved for a period of time.

Has that been changed so that you can no longer access images from websites that you visited?

They should be somewhere under \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache under different USER accounts on your PC, see:

For some reason when I follow the AppData\local The only folder I have under local is temp. This may have something to do with CCleaner Which I recently installed. Yesterday it gave me the pop-up saying there was junk to get rid of, most likely the junk included all the temp files.

Yes, the files most likely must have been cleared by CCleaner (which is one of its many functions).

( In my PC I have C:\Users\XYZ\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\IE\XSQJ89HI and a few randomly named folders (like in previos versions of Windows) and there are various files there from my browsing sessions, and these folders do contain images amongst other data such as .js .dat .xml etc. )

I just bought the pro version of CCleaner ( I know the free has the same features for the most part ) I wanted to have things cleared like history etc when I closed the browsers and free version didn't have that.

Is there a thread on here about CCleaner and what is the best settings and why??

Sorry, I don't use CCLeaner, but if you do a Google search with the following term, you may be able to get some more info.

    Enter in Google Search box:

    CCleaner site: h t t p s://w w w.tenforums.com/
    (remove the spaces between h t t p s and w w w)
