    Chrome notifications not going away

'Ease of Access > Show notifications for' does not work. Notification for things like USB thumb drive, auto play works correctly following the default 5 seconds.

Anyone experiencing this issue? My chrome YouTube subscription just get stuck there forever until I open up action center, really broken. (mail works fine)

    I'm on 17763.107

I suggest that you post a screenshot of the notification in question.

I'm not sure so I can only speculate but I don't think that is a Windows-generated notification. That would explain why changing your Settings is not resolving the problem.

It looks to me like many popups that are generated using PowerShell scripts [and these scripts can include setting how long they want the popup to remain on screen for]. So your best bet might be to look for options within Chrome / YouTube add-ins. You might get a steer towards the source by looking at Task mgr, Processes, Apps [while the popup is there] to see which [if any] processes are listed that were not listed beforehand.

    Best of luck,
    Denis

I have same problem as you. This problem had occured when using old chrome notification. Youtube and some other sites notification stuck on screen until click on it or close it. I wished native Windows 10 notification will fix that but it still here. If there is "Close" button on notification, that means it will stay. Chrome has to settting for overwrite sites notification priority, i assume they choose longest time to stay on.

There is a TenForums tutorial at Allow or Block Website Notifications in Google Chrome that might help.
