Glasgow Tram 488 - Introduction [Home Page] uses a flash nased menu system. All other browsers allow you to enable flash and in theory it should be possible with Edge using the solutions shown here: Adobe Flash Player issues with Windows 10 (Microsoft Edge) - Sadly none of the three options stated there work on my PC and that may apply to other punters visiting the site with Edge.
Anyone with ideas of how this issue can be resolved?
I have a small FlashPlayer script on my Web site that calls up an Internet clock and it works on Edge but not automatically, have to click where the clock should show and it allows only a Once choice, have to do it every time visiting the page. Otherwise it works fine on IE11, Firefox, SeaMonkey and Pale Moon but not supported in Vivaldi, maybe or maybe not in other Browsers.
I also use Edge and flash. I have no difficulty on other sites using Flash in Edge but on this website it does not work so my feeling anyway is the problem is with the web site not with Edge.
From what I can see it is only on the menu where flash is used and the instructions say this:
If people bother to read the instructions they should be able to view everything on the site using Edge.So use instead the hyperlinks at the bottom of the page or the Tour Guide facility found in the top right hand corner of this page
trolleybus I did follow the the third option or section labeled "Alternatively" from your Adobe Flash Player issues with Windows 10 (Microsoft Edge) link. This is what I come up with.
I'm assuming that you still have the slider switch still toggled on in "Advanced Settings". If not don't fret there is still time to change it at step #2.
Go to your Glasgow Tram No.488 site. You may still see the flash requirement, but follow step #1 and the "be careful" box will drop then go to #2:
After #2 you should see this next attachment, then follow the red instructions to refresh the page to see your changes:

If you already have the flash slider on in "Advanced Settings" you may see this "refresh to see your changes" box instead of the "Allow adobe flash" in the first attachment
- You can either click anywhere on the Glasgow page to close the Info box then click on the refresh button; It's the circled arrow trying to catch its tail next to the little "home button", or
- You can click twice on the refresh button; The first click will close the Info box, the second click will refresh the page, and you should see this:
- @trolleybus;, I tested the permission setting and it does hold when creating the Glasgow site in a new tab.
- @Berton;, You may want to try this for your script on your site but I'm not sure how it would show up in the info box in the address bar. You might have luck adding the clock and then going to: Advanced Settings in Edge >>Scroll down a bit to Website Permissions >>click on Manage. Make sure the clock is on your page before adding your website to the permissions list and hopefully Edge will accept it. One caveat; If your website is multiple pages and your clock is on every page you may have to add every page's address to the manage list.
- notnats, Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed? Still no reason to be nasty to a fellow member. trolleybus was looking for a solution, not a workaround.

Sometimes, even if one has flash set to on in "Advanced Settings" it does not translate to every website, that is when you have to let Edge know through the address bar Info or lock icon's that you want flash to work on a particular website. The Advanced setting is not a blanket permission.
The hint here with trolleybus's Glasgow site is when you click on the Info icon, the first thing you see is "Be careful with this site....etc." Any of the newer browsers, Edge included pre-reads the security of a website before it is presented in the browser and if it is not up to specs, Edge shuts off flash unless specifically told to allow it.
Another hint is there is no lock icon in the address bar, this also throws a red flag to Edge that this may be a dicey site and it is trying to protect its user.
I do not know how the Microsoft Store works because I do not use it, but I'll bet that if you go there you will see an Info, Lock, and possibly Shield Icons in the address bar and flash will work in every nook and cranny of the MSStore without any input from the user, and most likely without the knowledge to the user that flash is in use.
Far be it of me to warn trolleybus or anyone of the insecurity of a site. If that user has been going to that site for weeks, months, or years without a security problem or any problem then so be it, and I will try to make their lives easier.
I certainly did not intend it to be nasty, I really was referring to myself because I had gone through the site several times and only saw the information about activating Flash, I did not read further down. My error.

The strange bit about the page source code is javascipt is the problem not flash
