Some websites won't play sound on any browser.

Some websites just aren't playing sound anymore. It doesn't matter what browser, or if I manually change what output they use, or if I reinstall my sound drivers, I cannot get some websites to play sound at all. The sound control panel still acts like there's sound playing, but there's not.
I've tried uninstalling all other sound sources but my speakers, reinstalling the speaker drivers, plugging in headphones, trying different browsers, running the troubleshooter, there's simply no way to get sound to play from some websites.
I've attached a recording of this happening. You can see clearly no one in the live steam is having issues hearing, just me.

The sound is fine in VLC on my Notebook but the volume seems quite low but that notorious with Notebooks.

What do you mean? In the video, the live stream is mute even though windows thinks it's playing sound, but youtube works fine.

What I said, the file output.zip when decompressed works as intended but weak in volume, probably would be better on my Desktop with its amplified speakers.

So you're saying the stream with David Hayter has sound for you, even though it was recorded without audio? That doesn't make any sense. Even if the recorder did grab the sound, when I watch the video I still don't hear it, but I do hear the YouTube video.

Alright I figured it out, Windows, without ever asking me or me doing this, set my speakers and headphones to 5.1 surround sound, and is trying to play videos through the back speakers that I don't have.
