    How to Sync Edge Favorites - all settings correct but no go ?!?!?


    Good evening all,

    A few weeks ago I reinstalled Win10 on my Notebook and Surface Go. But unfortunately my Edge Favorites still did not Synchronise :-(

    My Notebook settings are:





    My SurfaceGo settings are:






    I rebooted several times and switched all above settings on / off several times as well.

    There seem to be some synchronizing going on because some times my notebook taskbar (bottom) changes to the position I have it on my SurfaceGo (right). I do set it bck to where it was but after a day or two it switches again.

    Any suggestion how to sync my favorites ?

    Not sure, if this apply to your case, since I have had a problem like this in Insider installation. Tried everything, but solution was to reset Edge.

    go to Settings / Apps / click on Edge and select Advanced Options and there Click on Reset. You can try repair first, didn't work for me

    Normally when you reinstall you are asked to verify who you are by email if you dont do that it wont sync some things that are private but it will sync themes and things like that

    Turns out that Bill is just damn slow. Takes over 7 days to sync.

    I sure hope that MS will fix that, because that is way too long in my opinion.
