    Hi TalaTomlinson

As I'm sure you are aware that product has long been drop from support. While you may get it running this time its demise can be expected. I would strongly recommend you change to a supported product.

    When did this start?

What updates were installed just prior to this? Click

Start > Settings > Updates and Security > View Update History

Did you make any changes just before this happen, new AV, new game, new hardware.

If you click on Start and type Reliability History is your error showing there. Likely a Red circle with X. If you click on Red x the lower portion of screen should have error. If you click on View Technical details. Can you post screen shot.

There are no updates for a non supported product. Windows Essentials is gone and with it Live Mail.

    Hi Tala Tomlinson,
I had the same problem with Windows Live Mail so I changed over to Mozilla Thunderbird.
It also has more bells and whistles than WLM.

    Cheers.
