I know this an old topic but I just recently upgraded to windows 10 and had the hmmm can't find this page problem in Edge. My solution: after hitting windows key I typed cleanmgr in search box and ran the computer clean program selecting system files and making sure windows updates box was checked. Now it works fine.
I do this once a week as well as running the CCleaner program (the free one) Works great.

Things were going fine when I ran into the same old problem....the dreaded hmmm...problem. After cleaning the system I discovered that my latest update had frozen. I redid the check for update procedure and after getting the new updates to download and install, I used the clear system files cleaner and then ran the Cclean app and everything works well again.
There's something with the update process that messes up the computer.

Not sure what you are saying. Did you clean your system files using the file cleaner program ?
Haven't clean nothing, its recommended not to run Ccleaner right now because you may need those old version files to revert back to 1803.
Blank start page is from updating to 1809, I have to F5 refresh it to get it display page..
OK I'm still waiting for the 1809 update. Still using 1803.
Your not missing much. I have a couple of bugs with this version. blank start page on browser, no email notifications until I click the envelope icon in task bar.
