Have you ever contracted a virus due to FLASH? I've only had 2 viruses (Trojans) in the last 5 years. 1 was caught by Defender and 1 caught by Avast. Don't think either of them arrived via FLASH.

To be perfectly honest, I've been extremely careful with every computer I've ever had. I wouldn't call it paranoia but rather due diligence. None of my computers have ever had a virus -- at least one that alerted an antivirus program. If one ever got by, I never knew it.

    Same for me "Allow Once"

It sucks because I prefer Edge and I absolutely hate everything google. I guess I will be forced to use firefox now.

There is no solution. Flash is being phased out and will be gone entirely in 2020. The behavior in Edge, 'allow once', is now the norm for that browser. The article I linked to in post #6 says eventually, Flash will also be gone from Google Chrome and Mozilla (Firefox).

Flash is out-dated. The websites that still use flash are out-dated. I recommend to turn the flash option off in edge.

I agree. Major corporations web sites (like some I use for on-line payments for utilities, streaming live/on-demand video, etc.) are still using Flash. Hopefully these sites will be updated prior to Flash being retired. So both Edge and Chrome are now prompting to enable Flash.
