Amazon not responding

    Amazon not responding


    If I try to open the Amazon web site, I get the opening page but nothing thereafter except a small box telling Amazon not responding.

    I don't have this problem with ebay or any other site. Any one any ideas what the problem is and how I can fix it with your help please?

    First thing I would do is try another browser.

    If alternate browser works clear browsing data from original.

    When you clear browsing data know your passwords. If you save passwords in your browser you do not need to clear them, they can be kept as they are not the issue.

    Just tried that Ken,

    No joy. Using Windows10 where will I find Clear browsing history please? I Can get E-bay or anyone else but not Amazon?

    It's not part of Windows 10. It is a browser control. Which web browser are you using?

    I'm in Canada.
    I have no problem accessing Amazon.com (US site) or Amazon.ca (Canada site).

    I am using IE11 browser, Win 10 1803 build 17134.320

    Adding : Just tried MS Edge browser and no trouble with Amazon either.

    Hi folks

    I'm not sure why amazon doesn't work on your computer

    I've used amazon a lot and never have had the slightest problem with it

    even on a mobile phone --it's so easy -- just slide the BUY thing and order is placed (I use an amazon credit card for this though -- always pay back at end of month to avoid high interest though).

    Can't say I've ever had any problem on amazon sites whatever browser or whatever device I'm using.

    In fact it's almost TOO easy !!.

    Don't get me wrong - I'm not getting in to an argument here over whether amazon should pay more taxes etc -- as a customer I just LOVE IT - the convenience and even for obscure items they turn up on my door even in Iceland with zero problems.

    Thanks for your replies. I use Norton Premium, maybe they are causing the problem? I will try another browser and see what happens then let you know.

    Amazon not responding


    I tried Amazon on Yahoo and got just the same response Amazon not responding. I suskpect there is something on my computer blocking it? See attachement.
    Look forward to your comments and advice please.

    Sorry, but I don't understand what you are saying there, Yahoo is not a browser.

    Try another browser, such as Edge. Your screenshot shows you were using Internet Explorer.
