Night Eye for Edge extension brings Dark Mode to any website

    Night eye

At last!! I'm quite used to the dark mode in all the pages in Chrome thanks to an extension, so when I used Edge, I was quite annoyed by the white color in some pages, some said that with "Turn off the Lights" you could darken the pages, but I can never make it work.
I have noticed that, at least in my case, it has some errors, but I suppose they will be fixed with updates through the Store, another thing to keep in mind is that it's not completely free, it can be used for three months and then you have to pay.

When something says 'Free' it should be free. Why would I want to pay $9 per year to have an extention that slows down my browser loading. I know $9 is not alot but it's the principle.

and yet another reason not to like edge. really wish someone would take the windows source code and revamp the entire os. there is still so much in it that looks like it came from win 95, and their bypassing old code instead of removing it is REALLY old. it's the main reason the os install base is so HUGE.

There are some things I don't like about Edge, but it works okay. My Edge loads fast compared to other browsers. I have IE and Chrome, also. I don't particularly like Chrome because I just don't trust Google. It seems M$ is phasing out IE, but there are some things I like in IE. I haven't tried Firefox. Maybe I'll give it a try.

your edge loads fast compared to other browsers cause there's nothing installed in it. cent and comodo here and can't complain one bet about either.

Edge has a 'Dark Theme' in settings but it isn't as good as NE, which really does kill all the white bits.
I'm using Night Eye with Chrome but I don't think I'll persist with it, running into too many operational issues with logged in sites and am customising almost on a site by site basis, some dark, some filtered with contrast and brightness tweaks to reduce the snow blindness. It slows up on the re-rendering when I have a load of tabs open too, 4460 i5, so not that underpowered.
The free trial runs out this week, (although I suppose uninstall and some judicious cookie deletion might negate that...)

In Chrome I use Dark Reader, in my opinion it's much better than Night eye, I hope that one day it will be available in Edge.

Thanks for that, just having a look now.
Ironically enough NE doesn't work on the Chrome Web Store...
