I don't use Microsoft Edge (except on special occasions). So, it is always not loaded on my PC. However, when I wake my PC from "sleep", Edge is on and has the focus. How can I stop this from happening? I don't like Microsoft forcing Edge on me!!! Thank you..........

Are you possibly using Windows Spotlight for lock screen and have fun facts and tips turned on. If you click on that lock screen it does a Bing search (inside Edge) and has the answers ready for you.
What happens if you wake device up with space bar?
Of course some of this in my opinion is broken as I can't get spotlight but I get the setting option to turn fun facts off and on a machine where I use spotlight I don't get an option to shut off.

I don't even know what Windows Spotlight is. I wake up the PC by pressing on the On/Off button. I don't know what Fun Facts is. So, Windows Spotlight and Fun Facts are unknown to me so I don't have any idea how it could be involved. Thanks for replying.
Can't recall if it is default. Click
Start > Settings > Personalization > Lock Screen > Look in the box Background. What does your say?
Fun Facts is a little slider switch below this, say a couple of inches.
Did you try waling with space bar?
