    TVGuide.com Videos driving me Crazy...

I use Chrome v69 as my default browser.I use tvguide.com for my TV Listings. Every time I refresh the page, there is this obtrusive video that plays at full volume that I want to get rid of. I have 3 AD Blockers as Chrome Extensions that do remove the ads, but not that video. I stay up late at night and don't want to wake up anyone else in my house when this video loads. Is there any way to get rid of it?

I use Firefox and the TV Guide site puts a speaker symbol/control on the same tab and easy to mute. As to the video, frequently it can be minimized by first maximizing the window then looking for a down arrow in close proximity to minimize it within the window, might take a little scrolling to get it to show.

Yea, but won't that mute your speakers for everything else? I need my speakers on as I get notifications for email and other things.

I tried that in Firefox and it worked. In Chrome, there is an option when you right-click the tab to "Mute Site" which also worked.
I can still hear my speakers for other stuff.
    Thanks for the tip.

You're welcome. I like that feature just because it doesn't mute everything. I've run into a couple other, news-type sites, that have it.

You could give these folks a try. No videos and few ads you can't stop. Hovering on programs gives much more info than tv.com. Good GUI to make setup for your needs easy.

I use TitanTV also. I find that some of the listings are wrong, but most of the time it's ok. I have the grid set for 6 hours.
On TVGuide.com I used to have it set for 3 hours, but it went back to 2 hours without any way to change it.
