MS asks to not use Chrome or FF for Fall update

I am not sure about this but think I read this somewhere. if it is so, I uninstalled chrome and tried using Edge with Cortana.
The web cam light that worked o well with Chrome now has the light on all the time -it is when Cortana is enabled.
Should it always be on or only when called upon like with Chrome?

    Hello @maranna,

This would be from app recommendations. Selecting Turn off app recommendations should stop this.

I ony get three chocies and none are like the ones shown.
It seems the moment I click to turn Cortana on, the light comes on and stays on.

    Tried that too.
I won't lean on you anymore. I have reinstalled Chrome and all is well. If the update causes issues I won't be the only one.

    Hi,
Update tend to mix things up quite a bit at times sort of one of 10's perks is to keep uninstalling and reinstalling stuff :)
