I've sent a lot of feedback in about the web cam and Cortana and also about windows mail folders not functioning as well as they could. If one creates a folder and tries to enter an email for keeping it can be done with outlook.com but not with windows Mail.
I like Windows but was ready to jump ship to Apple till I learned about their issue with the C port etc.
Make less flash and make it well.
As I said, I could be wrong and gave a link that came as close to that as I could. Sometimes you read an article and cannot find it; besides it may have not been true. I was only conveying what I thought I read. If I remove Chrome I have no voice to text without workarounds. Cortana has a flaw unless someone reading this who has a 3rd party web cam has no trouble with Cortana and that light staying on. It works flawlessly with Chrome.

I began this thread by asking how to fix Windows so enabling Cortana does not keep the Creative 3rd party web cam light on all the time instead of only when in use. I tried the first fix suggested to no avail. The others were too hard for my level.
I am using Chrome now and its voice seach; it is better and less confusing than Cortana and Edge and if I get penalized in the future, that's my tough luck.
I could get rid of Chrome but b/c I cannot talk to Cortana w/o the light staying on I have to type all my questions to Edge.
I would think someone out there must have he same issue.
