How to rollback to Firefox ESR v52.9.0 after automatic update.

I have been using Firefox ESR. I am not ready for Firefox Quantum because I want to use the legacy extensions "Show Parent Folder", "Go Parent Folder", and "Session Manager" and a few others. I am not concerned about security because I find Kaspersky Internet Security (and others) sufficient for my purposes.

    So I downloaded file
    firefox-52.9.0esr.win64.sdk.zip
    from page
    Directory Listing: /pub/firefox/releases/52.9.0esr/
    but I don't know how to use it. I can't find a setup.exe -- or any .exe.

How can I roll back to ESR v52.9.0?

(I do have file "Firefox Setup 52.5.2esr64.exe", but that is apparently not the latest)

Thanks, but I can't use v60.2.0. That is my current version that I want to replace with v52.9.0 in order to use my legacy extensions.

    Hi,
    What legacy extensions ?
I basically have one and it still works so it must not be a legacy thankfully :)

You have the wrong file. You want the exe, not the SDK Zip. SDK is Software Development Kit. Unless you're planning on rewriting FF!

You want this one. Just drill down from that directory link you have and find the language and bits you want. DL that. If you have 60 installed, I would uninstall it completely first. They are grossly incompatible. Look for thisHow to rollback to Firefox ESR v52.9.0 after automatic update.-2018-09-08_17h01_31.png:

    FIRST:
I installed Firefox Setup 52.9.0esr.exe and set Options to:
1 "Never check for updates (Not recommended: security risk)"
2 unchecked "[] use a background service to install updates."
    3 In Kaspersky:
Off: "Software Updater" (it was already off)

Then the newly installed ERS v52.9.0 automatically updated to v60.2.0!

    SECOND:
I repeated the above but this time I uninstalled v60.2.0 first.
I also unchecked "automatically update: search engines"

    THIRD
    Waiting to see what happens.

Currently v52.9.0 is running, but the legacy extensions did not reactivate. They are disabled and do not have enable buttons. I have the earlier legacy files and will try to install them.

EDIT: Reinstalling legacy versions from files works.
