Windows Live Mail 2012 refuses to send emails, claims they're spam

My wife uses Windows Live Mail 2012 and says it refuses to send emails, claiming they're spam. This is even replying to someone who is in her contacts list. I have run several different virus checks and nothing comes up. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. TIA

If all fails you could try reinstalling the Software or (which I would recommend) switching to a different more up to date Mail client

I would seriously think about alternative software. As the name suggests, the software hasn't been updated since 2012 which is a long time in software and you could be open to vulnerabilities.

Couple alternatives come to mind, the modern Mail app that is currently included with Windows 10 or Thunderbird.

Do you use a third party anti virus software which may have an anti spam filter?
Perhaps this is blocking the mails.

I am recently having this same problem as your wife. I have never had a problem before and I don't know what has changed. It seems to now not like links to substack and or maybe putting G o d in the subject line. I haven't figured why this is occurring as I have never seen a problem with sending out emails before with this program. It will label it as spam and leave it in the outbox and won't let me access the windows live 2012 program unless I restart the computer.Windows Live Mail 2012 refuses to send emails, claims they're spam-elimination-god-spam-email.jpg

It then outbox entry disappears. It does not go to deleted items or junk folder but disappears into cyberspace!

Has nothing to do with the program, it is the smtp server that is rejecting it. Since it is a Chainmail type email, most likely one of the addresses in the list are causing it.

Well I don't understand if it is the smtp.sasktel.net rejecting it. If I log onto my internet service provider via the internet. It goes through without being tagged as scam. I have just had it happen again with an email created with the title: "Please look into this?" sent to my banker and sent from Windows Live 2012. There are no links and I typed the body myself and it hung up as scam.

Malware Bytes (free) and Superantispyware are running in the background. Perhaps I should disable and see if it still is a problem.

I have cut and pasted the body of my message (ctrl-x and v) and subject and sent it from the internet (same provider) and it goes through without a problem. Does my message from the internet not go through the same smtp processing?

My email provider has modified their spam filters and I can now once again send emails to my friends. It seems the big players are constantly fine tuning and slowly but surely eliminating freedom of speech. In Canada, we face Bill C-11 which will censor anything that the totalitarian government in power deems necessary as they can't take the truth in the form of criticism for their actions.

For the moment, I can now once more email my friends. We do know however that they (big brother) is constantly watching the content and subject lines of any email you send. We certainly know that if you to try to send credit card information in the body of your email, it will come back with it not allowed to go out. Bots are in place.Windows Live Mail 2012 refuses to send emails, claims they're spam-final-response-ticket-closed-free-again-email.jpgWindows Live Mail 2012 refuses to send emails, claims they're spam-my-initial-response-their-quest-info.jpg
