You are not signing out of gmail. You are signing out of Chrome (the browser) and you signed into it using your gmail id.

Google makes life simple (and other are following). You get one id with one password and you can sign in to all their products. Youtube, maps, play store, chrome and photos......

When you sign into chrome it allows you to sync your chrome across several devices. So you can see your bookmarks made on one machine on another, if you ad an extension and it can be used on another machine it is added.

Even if you don't use on a second machine you can think of this as a backup. Buy a new machine, sign into chrome and your bookmarks and extensions just appear.

You can set what gets synced / save in the cloud in chrome setting. I sync everything.

Not to worry, admins removed your Image. Your image had your full email address exposed.

Are you okay with the response I gave in posting 3 of this thread re signing out of gmail.

    Hello,
    Thanks a lot.
You see, now I remember that yesterday evening I was searching for some help on microsoft and was asked to sign-in with my account, so used my email account, and when finished and clicked to sign-out I got that notice about the sync. I was a little in panic because this happened only yesterday one time since I use computers and gmail. So I took a screenshot (it was several minutes before going to bed) not thinking twice and posted it.
Only today, reading the answers, I new that I made a foolish mistake.
Thanks for the action, the answers, now it is OK.
    Thanks again.
