I have a problem with Yahoo emails on W10PC - OK on W10Laptop & Tablet

I believe I have encountered a website that did something to my PC as I copied information the initial part copied was shown blue then I encountered a red section. Action taken since to no avail:
1, Deleted the copied information. presumed protected by MS Defender, and my Paid for AVG internet protection.
2, Ran AVG - no issued found,
    3, Uninstalled Chrome.
    4, Reinstalled Chrome.
5, Ran Malware bytes Trial Premium. 6 P.U.Ps. found and locked down. Still no change to yahoo on the PC while it ok on Laptop etc.
6, I think I must completely remove and uninstall Windows 10. and see if the yahoo program goes with it .
7, Obviously I Will need to get a replacement copy of Windows 10. I have a Free copy.
I will certainly need help with 6, and 7. and as much helpful advice as possible.
As it is I have a decade almost of information I don't want to lose tied into Yahoo Mail.
The Information is still there on my other devices so it is there to be accessed and the unworkable yahoo mail on the PC replaced without losing my personal letters etc.

    Afternoon billz

So you are accessing Yahoo through your Chrome browser and is this where you are encountering issue?

First thing to do is to clear all browsing data, you can keep passwords. When you delete cookies site where you are using Keep me signed in" will need their password and id re-entered.

Click three dost upper right, hover over more tool, click on clear browsing data. Click on Advance tab. Clear all except passwords.

There is a simple test you can do to see if clearing everything would help, but that doesn't delete anything yet. Start an Incognito browsing session and try Yahoo mail in that. If you can get your Yahoo Mail while Incognito, then you know that clearing the browsing data will help.

An alternative is that your Chrome profile may be corrupted. If so, you could either create a second profile and use that, or reset your current profile. This will clear all your bookmarks, so export them first so you can import them after the reset.

    Thank you Bree ---- Magic!
I can now see my e mails as usual, so that clearing the Browsing data will help.
As the problem started after the recent red shaded copy I describe what May be the cause, it would seem delete the last visits first and test yahoo again to see if it is linked to a web site. (excepting this forum to start with.

You can delete individual entries in saved file and cookies but as all information is regenerated it is far cleaner to delete all. Fresh start. Yes you have to sign into a few sites.
