So assuming that you're using Internet Explorer s your web browser, follow along this guide:
1) Click on Tools in the top right corner -> Internet Options
2) Check: Delete browsing history on exit
3) Press Settings button
4) Press History tab on top
5) Days to keep pages in history: 0
6) Press OK
7) Close Internet Explorer and re-open it
8) Do multiple random searches.
9) Close Internet Explorer and re-open it again. Did it work out?
You have just cropped your first picture not to show the back arrow.
I'm out if this, wasting time.
Helmut, I am sorry you thought I was wasting your time as it was, it was nothing to do with Google activity settings but my Internet Explorer Settings which Penamee pointed out. I am sorry you had to "Get out of Here" and could not give me a little more time as I am not a computer buff, 86 years old and trying my best to learn as I go along. Hopefully I won't have to bother you again.
Cheers,
RonBin
Pepanee, Yes! it worked thank you very much. It was nothing to do with Google settings at all as I discovered, but with my Internet Explorer internet settings. I followed your graphic instructions and the job was done in no time at all.
Thanks again, very much obliged. If I can help you at any time please don't hesitate to let me know.
Kindest regards,
RonBin

You are so very welcome! =)
I am so happy I was able to help you out with that little issue. I'm so glad the instructions and the graphic I included made it easy to understand!
It makes my day when I'm able to help out a person fix things to the way they want it! Have a wonderful day =D
Pepanee you have no idea how great it is when someone like you comes along and gives you first class help and all one's problems float away, wonderful! I just wish I was a lot younger and could absorb more and be like you, able to help those who need it. Wonderful. Thanks a million and I wish you and yours all the very best.
Kindest regards,
Ron
