Edge opens with previous page instead of start page

Randomly, not all the time, after a reboot (or power off/on) Edge will start with the previously opened page instead of the set "home" (start) page.

Is there any way to prevent this?

Try enabling 'Clear on Exit'...

I don't want to always clear items (and shouldn't have to).

No, you shouldn't!
Edge is finicky, it's not my default browser!

Maybe try to click on the dropdown for the "Start Page" and choose "A specific page or pages" and enter the specific URL.


And also go to the bottom and in "Advanced settings" do it again for your home button.

Thanks, I'll try that. Advanced Settings already had the specific page. I changed the start to a specific page.
As its not all the time, it may take a while to see if this fixes it.

Unfortunately that did not fix it. I purposely closed Edge yesterday on Facebook and then powered off the PC. This morning when I powered it on and opened Edge it went to Facebook.
