Bing Search Bar in Edge's New Tab page

Good day,

For some reason the Bing Search bar appeard on the New Tab page while there wasn't a search bar before. I don't know what the trigger is, perhaps Windows updates. I have even chosen Google as the standers search engine in the address bar itself.

I remember this happening a while back before after certain updates but I don't remember how it got solved.

Anyone who has this? How to remove it?

This will also remove top sites. Is there a way to have the top sites but without the search bar as before?

Do you have this appearance as well, even if you've set Google as the standard search engine? Because it wasn't like that before.

Yup.
Search from the address bar will still go to Google...

Thanks for verifying. This is very weird, Microsoft keeps screwing the Tab page up with updates.

Perhaps anyone else who doesn't have this?

Before the big Win10 October update, I could drag sites...change the order... to put related sites next to each other and "pin" them down. Does anyone know how to do that now, aside from deleting, adding, re-pinning?

Yah, a blank page with a Bing Search Bar in the middle of it is NOT a blank page!!!!!!!
