Save page as one single file ?

After FF removed "save as MHT" add-on, only IE can save in that format and also open it. It was a very nifty feature and I have all slew of them saved like that. Saving in HTML format makes a folder + .html file which is cumbersome to keep.

Mm, very limited as you say as regards creating a MHT file.

Office 'word' style programs can usually make a fair attempt at viewing them.
    Also as here:
MHT File Extension - What is an .mht file and how do I open it?

Try WizHtmlEditor. Save-as-pdf is probably better though.

Print to PDF is probably the easiest.

    FF addons: e.g. SingleFile 1.2.11 2018
SingleFile helps you to save a complete page into a single HTML file. (not MHT)

More: (not tried) - the 1st 2 are flagged as 'Legacy'

Tnx but hat Wiz can't save to PDF.
Print to MS print to PDF can work but I still have bunch of MHTs convert and can only do one by one. Open in IE and print to pdf.

I think Chrome has that option.

Ditto on that. However it's possible to use an alternative such as SRWare Iron but I prefer to use Vivaldi browser instead of Chrome. I also use several other browsers including Firefox.

If interested in Vivaldi you can install this addon:

Save As MHT - Chrome Web Store

    RE: Vivaldi Privacy:

Vivaldi Browser Privacy Policy | Vivaldi Browser

When you install Vivaldi browser (“Vivaldi”), each installation profile is assigned a unique user ID that is stored on your computer. Vivaldi will send a message using HTTPS directly to our servers located in Iceland every 24 hours containing this ID, version, cpu architecture, screen resolution and time since last message. We anonymize the IP address of Vivaldi users by removing the last octet of the IP address from your Vivaldi client then we store the resolved approximate location after using a local geoip lookup. The purpose of this collection is to determine the total number of active users and their geographical distribution.
Well you can remove or replace that Unique User ID.

Here I replaced it with the generic chrome portable id but you can just as easily remove it completely. You just need to make the file read only after editing.

    "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data\Local State"

RE: Default bookmarks. You can just delete them.

RE: Google Safe Browsing. Just turn it off.

    Same goes for Speed Dial.
