    Hi McSweg

    Which browser ??

Have you tried clearing browsing data while saving passwords? At a minimum clear cookies and temp files.

Know your passwords if you are using keep me signed in option.

    Depends.

There are two methods used by most browsers.

Some browsers are set to ask if they should save a password for a site. These are saved in another area. If you open Options, click on Privacy and Security on left. Top of right window is Browser Privacy. First heading is forms and passwords. You can click on Saved Logins to see what info is contained within.

Another approach is through cookies. When you click the keep me signed in option when you login a cookie is saved to allow easy access. I guess some sites could be in both.

You can also manage this cookie data, same page. I guess it is possible to delete by hand. I would delete all and start using a password manager. Of course you could also start or continue using Firefox's manager. Then you could delete cookies when ever required. Pretty sure if you use FF's manager you don't have to click on keep me signed in. The password manager should supply passwords to login.

I use a third party password manager so I can use different browsers and different devices, Laptops, desktop, tablets and phones.

When you say anti adware, meaning AdwCleaner (best program) ?

Does the issue occur with other browsers ?

I second the suggestion of ADWCleaner
    Downloads - AdwCleaner - ToolsLib
    and then also:
Run Ccleaner Free on all the browsers on the system, clearing out the cache/history/temp files
Flush your DNS - in an admin command prompt:
    Code:
    ipconfig /flushdns
Reset Firefox (Resetting Firefox will still save your passwords and bookmarks, but will remove your add-ons.)
    Reset Internet Explorer
    Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab>RESET
Browser opening random tabs of ads that make me DL a fake adobeflash-image.png

Probably best to reset all browsers on the system, whether you use them or not.

CCleaner clears the cookies for all browsers in one pass. It's worth noting that you can whitelist a few important cookies before you start so you don't loose them (like the TenForums login cookie), it's in Options > Cookies. Be sparing in what you whitelist though, or you'll defeat the purpose of cleaning cookies.
