Turns out my backup laptop's passwords escaped my urge to delete. I enrolled it in Firefox sync with the result being my primary laptop now has its passwords back along with the iOS app. I'll keep both password managers running at the same time, deal with the ensuing chaos and over a month or so the Firefox PW will add missing, frequently used credentials.
