Chrome issue can't resolve - need direction

Team, please let me know if there is anybody out there that is successfull in getting chrome to work again on a windows 10 n , after the most recent updates Chrome works whenever it wants to . I have a AMD based machine. It will sometimes load pages quickly then stop working, i checked the firewall, and anti virus and only use the windows default ones and they are not blocking it , because i have gotten the same result when disabling them . Please help.

Hi maniek123. Welcome to the TenForums @maniek123

Here is how I would address.

First delete all browsing data. Three dots upper right, hover over "More Tools", click clear browsing data, click advance. There is a section for passwords which you can keep. That said know your passwords if you use cookies to log in (Keep me signed in option). Test

Next disable all extensions, test. If it works enable one by one.

Next reset Chrome. Three dots upper right, then Settings, then three bars upper left, advance, reset and cleanup. You can try clean up, test, and then reset option.

If it still doesn't work run the following four bolded commands. Use a Command Prompt(admin) or Powershell(admin)

Do not key in info in brackets, there for your information.

ipconfig /flushdns (Clear the dns cache)
nbtstat -RR (release and refesh NetBIOS names)
netsh int ip reset (reset ip settings)
netsh winsock reset (Reset Winsock Catalog)

1803 Update makes Chrome browser show blank window

Also, check the above thread and note post #12.

Seems to be a known issue. Some have elected to return to the previous update until issue is solved with an update.

Are you sure you have the most recent updates ? When time permits, it is good to enter your complete specs info in your profile.

I did all the above and nothing. The only thing I'm not able to do is do a bloody recovery past the update that i recently did for the media feature pack because i'm running windows 10 n. It's weird because chrome will load pages whenever it feels like it . I have 0 viruses, 0 malware, it's been scanned on all the hard drives . Don't know what to do any more. Next time i guess i will be buying intel based hardware, as AMD is the only machine in my house that chrome always seem to act up on after updates .

Big long shot but have you tried an inplace repair.

Think I would uninstall chrome first, do the repair and then re-install chrome. Of course if you are part of the "Known Problem" I don't believe it will help.

I always recommend doing a data backup before the inplace repair. It is supposed to be a non destructive process. Never hurts to have a backup.

Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade
