How to stop notifications regarding out of date email settings.

    Hello.
I have an HP laptop and a Toshiba laptop; both run Windows 10, so this question concerns both devices.
I constantly receive notifications that my GMail settings are out of date - they are not! However, when I follow the links and click "fix problem" I am requested to acquiesce to Outlook/Microsoft taking over my account. I do NOT want this. I will take care of any settings myself ......... so how do I get rid of this useless and irritating notification?
    Thanks for your help.

Hi, same here- for MAIL, if I launch it. I don't use it, so avoid the problem that way.
Are you getting these from Mail?

    I guess you've seen this:
Your account settings are out-of-date in Mail or Calendar for Windows 10 - Office Support

    'Learn More' from Mail.

You can choose to disable Action Centre notifications if that's where you are seeing the notifications.

Please confirm the origin of the notifications, where they originate, and whether you are using the Mail app. Thanks.

    Maybe ......

    Thank you for your suggestion.
I had already gone through your first suggestion - no joy,
I have just gone to settings and clicked ALL notifications off. I am hoping that solved the problem. I will come back & mark this "solved" as soon as I'm certain it really is.
    Thanks again for your help.

Hopefully someone who's been thru this and actually resolved the underlying problem will comment. After the frustration following Outlook Express then Win Mail then no client, I'd had enough of MS and went 3rd party.

Thank you, Dalchina. The notifications have not appeared since I followed your advice.
