How to Disable Plugins in Edge
CCeaner reports 4 plugins enabled in Edge.
But, when I click select Extensions form the menu it shows no active plugins.
Am I missing something??

All well and good, but I have no idea what where the Extensions folder is.
Try this:
Download HiBit Uninstaller - MajorGeeks
Go to Browser Extension Manager.
Then check what it finds:
For example breeze extension is loaded from the extension's folder which is located wherever the used placed the folder.
Why isn't there somewhere in Edge that one can Manage extensions??
There is. Click on the triple dot thing in the top right and then click on Extensions.
You are making an assumption that CCleaner is somehow more up to date on Edge than Edge is itself.
That might be true but it depends how often you upgrade Windows as opposed to CCleaner. I know which I'd trust and it isn't Avast tbh.
Got it.
When I select Extensions in Edge I don't see any enabled extensions.
Again the ones I see in CCleaner are plugins that the programs create for Internet Explorer.
I understand now.
I wouldn't bother with CCleaner honestly. I can't think of anything it does that Windows wouldn't do anyway (eventually) and it just adds confusion when it deletes things you don't want to or it proposes deleting things that are irrelevant.
