For years I have clicked to 'save login details' or 'remember password' in numerous websites, including this one. What use is this? I expected it to help with logging in, especially as I am often not able to remember the details. But no, I have never found it to have any effect at all, I have just the same difficulties as before. So what does remember, save, etc. do?
For this site as well as many others....it simply remembers you log in credentials (user name/password). So when you close your browser completely and maybe even shut off your PC, then later that on in the day you turn on your PC and open up your browser and go to this site......you don't have to sign in/log in.....you're already are and can navigate the site as you normally would.
