    Mail App and Gmail

I've always had my gmail account linked to the Windows 10 mail app, however the last update I did the mail app is a complete mess and will not show my gmail messages. I've deleted and relinked the account but it's not linking properly at all. I was able to successfully link a yahoo email account just not the gmail.

Is this a known issue since the last update, and is there a workaround fix?

Go to the MS Store and update Apps. Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Mail and Calendar > Advanced Options > Reset.
    You can also Reinstall.
I would also go to your Gmail Account via Web Mail and see to settings pages, as they are updating Gmail.

Gmail works correctly here with Windows 10 Mail, after the 1803 version update, but of course probably a different mail server.

    Thank you Helmut,

Yesterday there wasn't any updates available as I had checked, but I checked again after reading your reply and there is an update. So I'm updating it now and will reset as you suggest. Hopefully it'll work. Thanks :)

EDIT: It still isn't working It just shows this...doesn't show the folders/mail messages, and can't create a new email message.

Ok it's fixed, for some odd reason in privacy settings apps didn't have permission to get emails...I don't know why the update would turn that off, however I turned it back on and everything is working properly.

When I try to send an email from my gmail account via the Mail app, it goes to spam folder. Does anyone know the solution? Windows 10 Pro 1909 x64. Thank you!
