Internet Explorer 11 after 1803 update

1803 update went as expected and everything appeared OK until I attempted to open Internet Explorer via mouse click on the Taskbar icon (which failed) and via the Windows START Menu, which also failed. IE does open after a Right click on the Taskbar icon followed by a Right click on Internet Explorer from the resulting drop down menu and then a Left click on "Run as Administrator."

Somewhat further, I just realized any links provided in Outlook email messages received also fail when clicked.

All worked perfectly prior to the 1803 update. A prolonged Google search failed to identify any site where MSIE 11 could be downloaded and installed separately.

    Any assistance is appreciated.

That's because in Windows 10 Internet Explorer is now supplied as a part of Windows and cannot be installed separately.

I had IE pinned to the taskbar before the upgrade to 1803 and it still works just as it did in 1709. You may be able to get yours working properly by uninstalling then reinstalling it. You do that in 'Windows Features'.

Install or Uninstall Internet Explorer in Windows 10

You had best export your bookmarks first in case the uninstall deletes them.

Bree--Thanks..."Install or Uninstall" is not synonymous with "Turn On or Turn Off."

Nevertheless, I have nothing to lose at this point.

No, but it's the closest you can get in W10.

As a part of W10, IE can be removed or added at will. There's nothing it needs to download to make the changes. Your bookmarks may be to only thing you risk loosing, so export them first just in case.
