    1803 update -- now can't access mail.

Feeling embarrassed to ask as I suspect this might be something really simple.

Since updating to 1803 yesterday, I've lost access to all of my email accounts in the Windows Mail app.

Every one says "System error" and "Can't get mail".

    Any advice please?

I'm having the same problem my friend. It appears the Windows 10 spring update (1803) is causing this problem. Hoping Microsoft acknowledges problem soon and patches. Note I'm not having problems with my Hotmail/outlook accounts. Only my local ISP account that uses SMTP/POP.

    Try going to Start-Settings-Apps

    Click on Mail and Calendar

    Click Advanced Options

Scroll down and click the Terminate button, then click the Reset button.

Then try using Mail again. If that does not fix it, go back to where you clicked the Reset button and click Uninstall.

Then open the Store app and search for Mail and Calendar. Install it again and then try your mail.

If neither of these options work, please post back. Thanks. :)

    @Access Denied:
Terminate and Reset did the trick.
    Thanks.

Terminate and reset didn't work for me, but removing the app with Powershell and reinstalling it fixed it.

    Thanks for the responses.
Just to add to the solutions, you may check if the Mail and Calendar app is allowed to access your email.
Go to Settings > Privacy > Email.
Turn allow apps to access your email to On.
Then, toggle Mail and Calendar app to On.

I can't believe I had that option turned off and couldn't think of that being the reason, this is the second time in this update that the privacy settings were turned off and caused what I thought to be an OS breaking issue aha, thank you kind sir :)
