Windows Live mail does work in Windows 10. You just have to have the offline installer to install it. I do not know where to find it. However, it is no longer supported by Microsoft.

I have the offiline installer. Earlier, a few builds back, I used it to install Movie Maker. Now the installer runs but does nothing (I am using build 17655, it has not worked in four or five last Skip Ahead builds.

I am still using it and it works fine for me in build 1803.1. But, I haven't installed it in quite a while. Is it possible it will run but just won't install?

I get this when running installer:

Programs have been installed but not shown in Start menu. When launching any exe from C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live folder, this will be shown although there are no ongoing installs:

I don't know other than WLM and Movie Maker run on my system. Strange, isn't it?

Since it's insecure and no longer supported it would be better to use another email client.

I agree with it being no longer supported and not that secure, but all I know is...

The strange thing is that it does actually show up as installed even though the installer displayed error messages.

Anyway I'm going to uninstall as it was just a test for me. :)
